Technological innovation is placed at the service of materials to make them suitable for architectural use.

TIME IS ON OUR SIDE

Time as history, thickness, substrate.
Time as geological stratification that should lead us towards that optimism that we need.
Time that has to be our friend, in the knowledge that the future is only possible through respect and awareness of ourselves.

Floor Gres guarantees the security of 50 years of technological innovation, promoting integration between humans and the natural world and the perfect balance between the manmade and natural environments.

A targeted study of styles, colours, sizes and thicknesses means absolute functionality and high aesthetic contents for any type of project or decorative requirement, from urban architecture to the creation of home interiors.

Unaffected by seasonal trends, Floor Gres product design devotes painstaking attention to the evolution of style developed in a far-reaching and long-term manner.

MILES OF INNOVATION

Back in the early Nineteen-sixties Floor Gres introduced extruded clinker production in a sector that was still focused on double-fired red body tiles.

From its incorporation the company has led research into raw materials and production processes, and it was Floor Gres that introduced the ceramic district to technical porcelain with the first “salt and pepper” tiles.

Several years down the line the company patented a series of new technologies, including double filling and vertical filling of the tile press, which made it possible to obtain ceramics with high aesthetic and technical contents without using vitreous glazes.

Since the early salt and pepper products long ago, Floor Gres has been setting the pace of technological evolution square metre after square metre in a constant challenge aimed at assuring a sustainable future.
