"Auster" translated from German means oyster and is the name given to the swimming facility in Graz, Austria. Its name refers to its own particular form that recalls the oyster.
The structure, opened at the beginning of 2011, has 10 lanes of a 50 meters long sports swimming pool, trampoline up to 5 metres and offers many alternatives aquatic sports activities.
Everything is hosted in a modern structure covered by a glass roof that enfolds an area of ??1,000 m2 (in this way the crossing tram passengers have the chance to catch a glimpse of the sports center and vice versa). The wellness area covers an area of ??2,000 m2 divided between two floors.
