Piazza Fontana, Milan. A completely new piazza with an arcade, a tree-lined pedestrian area, a new pavement and, of course, Piermarini's fountain. A new addition is the Hotel Rosa, belonging to the StarHotels chain: a five-storey building (the same height as the Archbishop's palace and the Palazzo del Capitano) on the corner with Via Pattari on the north side of the piazza, in the area once occupied by the Albergo Commercio.

StarHotels was established in 1980 and made its way in the international tourist circuit thanks to its hospitality based on creativity, culture, tradition, attention to detail and a focus on harmony and wellbeing - in a word, by combining all the elements that have made Italian products popular the world over.

StarHotels currently operates 22 hotels, located in Italy’s largest cities, in Paris and in New York.
